The Laws of Thornhaven

  • Respect and follow the laws of the land of Canada, Ontario, and North Dundas.
  • Treat the land with respect. No removal of living trees/plants without permission of the land stewards.
  • All bonfires are sacred. Therefore, do not dispose of garbage in the sacred fires. Consult with the Firekeeper before adding anything to a sacred bonfire.
  • NO PHOTOGRAPHY, AUDIO, or VIDEO RECORDING is allowed during sacred events, such as rituals or meditations.

In this age of Social Media, please prioritize respecting people’s right to privacy. Everyone must consent to being recorded without exception. Make no assumptions about people’s consent, then respect their wishes around consent.
  • Children must be supervised by their designated responsible grownup(s) at all times.
  • Gentle swimming in the pond is encouraged. Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult to supervise their safety.

We are building an ecosystem and it is very fragile. If you wade in the pond, please be mindful of the plants.
  • Bring your garbage home.
  • Be responsible. Be respectful. Be kind. Make good choices.
